We aim to give visitors a clear starting point for discovering Sri Lankan businesses. This policy explains the difference between an editorial profile and a business relationship.
Sources and wording
Starter profiles use public business websites, official business social profiles, and tourism or industry directories. Each editorial profile includes a source link. The checked date records when the source information was reviewed, not an on-site inspection or a guarantee that every service remains available.
Descriptions are short original summaries. Planning prompts suggest questions to ask; they do not imply that the business offers every arrangement mentioned in those questions.
What a listing means
A listing is not a review, endorsement, quality rating or claim of affiliation. We do not invent customer ratings or testimonials. A country-level location means that a precise service area has not been published here; confirm coverage with the business.
Owner submissions and corrections
New submissions remain unpublished until an editor approves them. We may edit wording for clarity, request evidence, combine duplicate entries or decline information that does not fit the directory. Use “Suggest an update” on a profile or the contact form to report an error or request removal.
Commercial content
Paid promotions, if introduced, should carry a visible sponsorship label. Paid links should be marked appropriately for search engines. Advertising is not a reason to invent a rating or describe a business as independently verified.
Before making a decision
Confirm services, availability, prices and terms with the business itself. Public information can change between reviews.
